Met Gala 2017

As the sun began to set, the most important stars graced the red carpet attending one of fashion's most upscale trendy events of the year-- the Met Gala, taking place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This year was no different than any other year as a theme was put into place. The theme was in honor of Rei Kawakubo/Commes des Garcons who is the first designer since Yves Saint Laurent in 1983 to be included in an event theme of the Met's annual fashion exhibit.

All the most important influencers of the fashion world attended including Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of American Vogue and of course Andrew Bolton, curator of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute at the Comme des Garcons show.
Rising stars from the likes of Migos, a flourishing rap group were spotted on the carpet as well as some of music's top stars like Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, Selena Gomez, and British singer, Rita Ora made an unforgettable appearance.Other stars included actress and singer, Zendaya Coleman, Jaden Smith, Golden Globe Award winner, Lupita Nyong’o, and the ever so breathtakingly beautiful Halle Berry.
Many stars were dressed to the nine in some of the priciest garbs ever seen.

Palmer was seen in Los Angeles strutting her stuff in a strapless baby pink dress attending a Shoe Dazzle launch event in celebration of her shoe collaboration and her recently release book titled: I Don't Belong to You: Quiet the Noise and Find Your Voice. The book encourages young women to be introspective, confident, and find their voice.

From television hit shows like Scream Queens, her latest single,"Wind Up" featuring rapper, Quavo, and her new television gig joining 'Berlin Station' season two as a series regular; Palmer seems to have her finger right on the pulse.

  'Party' singer, Chris Brown is not only a singer and dancer, but he is an artist and it shows with his continuous releases of Black Pyramid. Jordan Summer Release: Heat on My Feet?

Summer is upon us and sneakers are an extremely big part of any great outfit. Jordan brand rereleases some pretty stellar sneakers that offer sneaker lovers a great opportunity to create different outfit pairings. For the upcoming months, I've selected two sneakers that I believe many Jordan fans will not only appreciate, but will pick up as well.

The Air Jordan 4 'Pure Money' sneakers are set to drop again on May 13, 2017, after 11 years. The shoe features the pure white leather, platinum accents, the classic Air Jordan logo displayed on the tongue as well as on the back of the heel of the sneaker, and the all-white rubber sole. For many, this may not be the most impressive Air Jordan releasing this summer, but this might be a sneaker to definitely put away for a rainy day.

The Air Jordan 11 Low Barons are set to release May 27, 2017. This sneaker features nu buck leather combined with an ash gray patent leather beneath the laces and heel area, a white mid-sole, and a cloudy translucent rubber outer-sole with silver accents on the logo and on the tongue area. Fenty x Puma: 2017 Fall Collection

Class is officially in session! According to Rihanna, Creative Director at Puma, her latest launch with Puma takes on the idea of a university--Fenty University, that is. This university style showcased deep, yet vibrantly show stopping colors, and patterns as well. Rihanna is known for her amazingly jaw dropping get up so when it came to launching her spring collection with Puma that Rihanna rain did not let up.

The looks were embellished with a Fenty logo embroidered on shirts, boots, and more. With a cool mixture of subtle fabrics; Rihanna seems to mix typical patterns like plaid and sheer fabrics all too well. While the line seems fabulously refreshed and fierce, there seems to be a rather subtle approach to some pieces as Rihanna models a cotton candy pink ensemble in her recent photo shoot for her Spring Collection launched with Puma.

There is no doubt that there were more than a handful of eye-catching looks that graced the runway, I mean Rihanna is none-other than a trailblazing fashion icon.
